Photos from above the slopes

From : Phil Wright

Here are some photos on Friday 17th at Frocester, including a wingtip view from my Mirij. Notice the counterweight on the opposite wing; there is also a film tube not visable below the opposite wing which is supposed to be 'equivelent' drag. However the glider isn't very happy with this setup, there were a few nasty tip stall incidents and it is a bit reluctant to turn left........ needs a stronger blow than Fridays to be safer.

The other photos are the first flights of a thin homebrew wing - only 7% section based on arcs. Built for DSing at Cam but yet to be tried there.

Ade removing Bill's Zagi from a tree at Rodborough. This tree is notorious for jumping out at passing models ....
